My first week in the US !

Today I have been in US for a week and I'm enjoying it a lot! It's still a huge difference with the language, culture and the city.

During most of the week, I helped out in the race shop and got to know everyone on the crew. The team I'll race for, RSWC, are moving to a huge new shop here in Sacramento so they have space for all the new race car this year. The car I'll race this year is a NASCAR Modified. It has not been delivered to the new shop yet, But will probably arrive February 2.
Pictures of the rac car will come !

For the driver devolopment program, I had my second class and I have learned so much. An old Indy Car driver held the class last Saturday and taught us to use our 5 senses more and how to be more aware when we are driving. He gave us some exercises that I have been doing every morning and I can't wait to try all I have learned on hte race track. This weekend, I have another class and the subject will be: " Marketing the Driver to Teams & Sponsors" and "Professional Level Racing Secrets & Strategies".

Otherwise the weather has been good (sunny earlier on this week, but it rained the past two days) and temperature has been about 70°F / 21°C. I ate my first American burger which was a huge! One of the crew cheifs bought me a very cool soda called Hansen's and of course it tasted great !
