American LeMans !

Last weekend I got invited to see American LeMans at Laguna Seca ! It was a great weekend with lots of racing and great company !

The day started by driving to the famous race track Laguna Seca south of San Francisco. When we arrived we took a walk around the pit area to see all the different activities ! After that all the race cars and teams lined up at the start finished straight away ! It was cool to be able to walk around all the cars and also got introduce to all the big names ! The second half of the race we suite up and walked out to the pit during the race ! It was so cool to stand just couple of feet away when all the teams did their pit stops !

American horsepower !

I woke up 5:00 am and after some yawn I head out to Thunderhill Raceway !

I went with a friend of mine to help out to drive coach for two great people at the race track. They brought out a Dodge Viper SRT 10 and a Ford GT. Two absolutely amazing cars that develop more than 1200 hp together and at this track we were able to reach a top speed around 140 mph / 225 km/h on this short straightaway! The Viper is such a beast and if you're still alive after each session you should be happy :)














The Ford GT is a great car, good handling, brakes and tons of horsepower. This owner did not thought that 550 hp was enough so his car develop more than 660 hp !!!














In the end of day I got a ride in a Mazda RX7 race car and I was wearing my street shoes and clothes and from the heat of the car my shoes started to melt a little !! but it was worth it !

NASCAR Campingworld West

Yesterday night I saw the NASCAR Campingworld west race ! It's a really big event and a lot of things went on, both on the track and outside !

It was a great day with good racing, met some friends but the weather was little to good ! For the last couple of days it has been around 100 F/ 40 C warmed. Something I'm not used to when I lived in Sweden, especially in the end of september !!

Disneyworld for Racecar Drivers !!

My day at Infineon Raceway today was absolutely great !!
I got introduce to some big names in the racing industry, got a ride in a NASCAR around Infineon, did the GT Simulator again, go carts, had great company, ate some great food and the weather was perfect !!!















Chris Cook is one of the best NASCAR driver on the road courses ! He got hierd by Tony Stewart to teach him road course in stock cars when he went from Indycar to NASCAR !

it was amazing to get the opportunity to ride with Chris Cook ! plus we did some drifting in this NASCAR ! something I never thought I would experience in my life :)

"Sliced Bread" Joey Logano's new nikname !!















There were some really cool Vintage cars in the pit ! Old Formula 1 cars, like McLarens, Lotus, Porsches etc !














Even it's 6 lines it was tons of traffic on the way home ?!

God morning !

This morning I'm on my way to Sonoma, Infineon Raceway !

I got invited from the simulator company I tested some weeks a go to meet some people. They have a NASCAR coach program there today plus some other activity like supercarts etc ! I'm sure it will be a lot fun and interesting !

California State Fair

Some weeks ago were the California State Fair and it was my first time at this kind of fair. They had almost everything there !

A big Zoo with everything from cows to kangaroos, roller costars, big gardens, car dealer ships, live entertainment etc. I have never seen a fair in this size before and each year almost 1 million people visit from all over America !

Race Simulator !

After I come back from the road trip it has been lot of work, both tried to catch up from the two weeks I was gone plus the first week in California. But it has been fun stuff going on so I’m excited and therefore it has not been so much time over for this blog - but I’m back now !!


Last weekend I get invited to Sonoma, Infineon speedway to try out a new race simulator. It's a new technology they had developed and right now they have three different simulators, one open wheel for Indycar and Formula 1, one GT simulator like Porsches, Ferraris and one NASCAR simulator.

This was the first time I tried this simulator and I managed to take the track record !!! Which felt good because a lot of pro NASCAR, Indycar and Prototype drivers have been there before me :)
