Time to race !

We just arrived to Irwindale Speedway to see my friend Brennan Newberry race the main event of the NASCAR All Star Race ! This is a big event and even Sprint Car driver Joey Logano is here to race ! They help the drivers to get pumped up to the race by showing Days of Thunder just before the green flag !!!

Hollywood !

This morning we went up to Griffith Park which is north of Hollywood ! Its famous for the view over Los Angeles and the great hiking trails ! Now we heading to Rodeo Drive for some lunch then going to the race track !!!

Enjoying L.A !

It has been another great day in L.A ! Been doing most of the tourist stuff at the coast, like Venice Beach, Ocean front walk etc. and tonight is the first race day of the All Star Race !

Santa Monica

We went to Santa Monica to eat lunch today and Its so nice and beautiful here ! Then we saw the Santa Monica Pier and kept walking around downtown !

L.A.

I woke up 4am this morning and just arrived to Los Angeles ! The trip went very well and the weather is so nice here ! 70-75 F/ 20-25 C warm ! This trip will be a perfect mix of business and pleaser and tomorrow night I'll see the big NASCAR All Star Race !

Two days ago my mouth started to hurt, big time. And the reason is my wisdom teeth's needs to come out, perfect timing before my four days trip in L.A. But I'm loaded up with painkillers and other stuff so I should be alright !!!

Great Weekend !

It was great to have a pretty relaxed and fun weekend after coming back to California trying catching up with everything. A friend and I did some go-carting, it was too long ago last time I drove a cart. It's so much fun and great exercising before the racing season starts. Go-cart its great practicing because everything is happening so much faster than other racing classes and it's very important to have fast reflexes !

Saturday night I went to see the PBR (Professional Bull Riding) show. I know race car drivers are crazy but those guys are insane !! To see it live gave it a total new dimension and those bulls are so big and crazy strong ! The show was live broadcast on TV and during the commercial breaks they put on a great show. It doesn't matter if you see a NASCAR race, football, a concert - Americans always know how to entertain their audience !

After the show we went to a Casino. I've never been a big gambler but it was a great time to be there. The state of California is now allowing Indians to own casinos in California State, a little refund after they took over their country. When you walked into the casino you directly thought you were in Las Vegas ! They had almost everything there, of course gambling, gift shops, music bands playing live, restaurants, hotels etc - It's a great time !

Anniversary !

Today, January 16 2010, it's my 1 year Anniversary in America. I've now been in America for a year and it has been a great time ! So much has happened during this year and I do not regret my moved to US and my new life here. Now I'm just very excited for my 2nd year's anniversary !!!

California Sun !

This day started just perfect, when I woke up this morning and looked out the window I saw this great view - Sun !!

It was 18 C/ 65 F warm and to make it even better we fired up the barbecue for the dinner as well !

Back home !

I've been traveling now for more than one month, during this time I've been in 11 states and three countries ! Everything has been perfect and a lot of fun and good for my carrier !

This weekend I'll just take it easy and recover mentally and physically ! But on monday again I've two excited meetings !

Now I'm just looking forward to my big and warm bed :)

On the road again !

This morning we left Maryland to help my friend Jeff to move to Charlotte, North Carolina. I remember how it was when I moved out and started a new chapter !

This will only be a 6 hours long road trip and in the end of this week and I'll be back to the reality in Californian !

2010 !

My first american New Year's was amazing ! I had so much fun with 150 000 other happy people at Time Square !

I'm very excited to see what 2010 has to offer and it was perfect to start the new year in New York City !

The day after we went back to Maryland to enjoy the weekend then the plan is to go to Charlotte, North Carolina !
